Privacy policy

Kingdom Plots is a Bible learning game run by Toluwase Sogunro in the United Kingdom (“we”). We decide how your information is used, and you can contact us at [email protected].

• Your player name and hero, which you choose. Your name can appear on leaderboards and clan boards.
• Your progress: XP, streak, levels and game results, and your settings (skill level, Bible translation, reminder time).
• A random account number created for your device so your progress can be saved. It is never shown to other players.
• Your PIN, if you set one, stored only in scrambled form (bcrypt). Nobody, including us, can read it.
• Your team, if you start or join one.
• If you choose to save your progress with Google or email: your email address (and, with Google, the name on your Google account), used only to sign you in.
• Visit statistics, only if you tap “Accept”: which screens you open, your country and the type of device and browser, and which site sent you here. Anything you type is hidden from these statistics.

We do not ask for your real name, age, address or phone number, and we do not show ads.

• To run the game and save your progress (needed to provide the game you asked for).
• To show leaderboards, clans and teams.
• To keep the game fair and safe, for example limiting sign-ins and PIN guesses.
• Visit statistics, only with your consent, to see which games people enjoy and improve them.

We use trusted services that store or process data for us, and only for running Kingdom Plots:

• Supabase: our database and sign-in service.
• Railway: hosts the website.
• Cloudflare: delivers the website safely and runs a quick check, when a new player starts, that they are a real person and not a bot.
• PostHog (EU servers): visit statistics, only after you accept.
• Resend: sends sign-in codes by email, if you use email sign-in.
• Google: only if you choose “Sign in with Google”.

Some of these services may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use the legal safeguards UK law requires. We never sell your information.

The game saves your player and progress on your device so it works offline, and keeps you signed in. Visit statistics use their own storage only after you tap “Accept”. If you tap “No thanks”, no statistics are collected.

Kingdom Plots is for adults and children. Players under 13 should play with a parent or guardian's permission and should not save progress with an email address or Google account without them. We only collect what the game needs, and players never need to give their real name. A parent can ask us to delete a child's player at any time.

We keep your player while you play. If a player is not used for 2 years, or you ask us to delete it, we delete it and its progress.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] with your player name and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the game.
